The Spaces You Live In
Designing homes and landscapes in collaboration with nature—spaces that feel grounded, alive, and aligned with the life unfolding within them.
My Approach to Space
I approach design as a relationship—between land, home, and the people who inhabit them. Rather than imposing a vision, I begin by listening: to the site, to its rhythms, and to how you move through your space and your life.
Each project is shaped through collaboration with nature and with you, the foundation of all permaculture designs. Ecology, functionality, and beauty are held together—so the spaces we design are not only visually considered, but deeply supportive over time.
This work values patience, stewardship, and thoughtful decision-making. Whether designing a garden, a landscape, or a home environment, the goal is to create spaces that feel grounded, alive, and responsive—spaces that evolve naturally and continue to support the life unfolding within them.
What This Work Can Include
The work takes many forms, depending on the land, the home, and the season you’re in. Rather than offering fixed packages, each project is shaped in response to place, purpose, and long-term stewardship
Ecological landscape design
Medicinal, edible, and native gardens
Site analysis and long-term land planning
Interior plant design and biophilic spaces
Thoughtful home flow and spatial alignment
Integrating natural materials, light, and rhyth
Place-based design consulting
Support for phased or evolving projects
Guidance rooted in ecology, functionality, and care
Each project is approached holistically, with attention to how space is used, how it changes over time, and how it supports daily life.
What Working Together Looks Like
Each project unfolds at its own pace, guided by listening, observation, and thoughtful decision-making. Rather than following a rigid formula, the process is shaped in response to the land, the space, and the people involved.
While every project is unique, the work often moves through these phases:
1. Listening & Discovery
We begin by understanding the land and the home—how the space is used, how it feels, and what it’s asking for. This includes conversation, site observation, and clarifying intentions before any design decisions are made.
2. Vision & Design
From there, a design direction emerges—rooted in ecology, function, and beauty. This phase may include conceptual layouts, plant palettes, spatial flow, and recommendations that align with both the site and your daily life.
3. Integration & Refinement
Designs are refined with care, allowing space for adjustment and feedback. Whether the project unfolds all at once or in phases, the focus remains on long-term support rather than quick outcomes.
4. Ongoing Support (When Needed)
Some projects benefit from continued guidance as landscapes grow and spaces evolve. Ongoing support is available for stewardship, seasonal shifts, and future planning.
This work values patience, relationship, and spaces that grow more meaningful over time.

There is no single “right” way to begin—only an invitation to explore
whether this approach feels supportive and aligned for you.
An Invitation to Begin
